Abstract
The research aims to try to know the theoretical foundations of the subject of ethical leadership, review them, and find out the most prominent literature that has been written about it and the definitions that specialists and researchers have stated in their definitions of ethical leadership, It also explains the characteristics of an ethical leader and the importance of ethical leadership for organizations and its contribution to raising employee morale. The research came with a set of conclusions, the most prominent of which is that ethical leadership is a collection of behaviors adopted by the leader in order for the organizations climate to be more ethical.
